What is the role of INTAN?

The National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN) is a public training center under Public Service Department of Malaysia whose role is to carry out training in attitude development, skill strengthening and knowledge empowerment of public officers as well as conducting research, consultancy and publication activities to equip public officers with talents, abilities and constructive thinking.

Who is eligible to undergo training at INTAN?

All civil servants are eligible to undergo training at INTAN.

Where can we access the INTAN Training Project Calendar? / How to get a list of courses offered by INTAN?

The Course Catalog can be accessed at the DTIMS Portal in https://www.dtims.intan.my/list_course/all

Can an officer who is not under the Federal Training Fund (Hadiah Latihan Persekutuan) apply for Quantitative Analysis (QA) course?

No, Master's/PhD Degree Preparatory Course can only be followed by prospective recipients of the Federal Training Prize and Full Paid Study Leave without Scholarship (CBBPTB) under the PSD.

Does INTAN provide industrial training/internship programme for undergraduate students?

Yes. INTAN provides industrial training/internship programme. Application can be made to the Registrar of INTAN at the following address:

Institut Tadbiran Awam Negara (INTAN) adalah sebuah pusat latihan awam di bawah Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam Malaysia yang berperanan untuk melaksanakan latihan ke arah pembangunan sikap, pengukuhan kemahiran dan pemerkasaan pengetahuan pegawai awam serta melaksanakan aktiviti-aktiviti penyelidikan, konsultansi dan penerbitan bagi melengkapkan pegawai awam dengan bakat, kebolehan dan pemikiran yang konstruktif.
